There was a lot of whining during this episode about supressing evidence because of the legal problem with the search, but why should it matter if, as was also pointed out, none of that "evidence" was probative anyway?

They should have reversed the last two scenes. I think that the "weird music" and odd scene of Nick not stopping a murder he could have prevented if he used his powers was revealing of his charactor. Revenge (justice) is not always accomplishsed through legal channels. Let's face it; the guy deserved to die.

I really liked this episode. No vampires or any other supernatural stuff; just everyday human tragedy. It was, I think, the closest thing to a murder mystery I've seen on this show. Although you knew who did it within ten minutes of the start. What I really like most about this episode was the last ten minutes of the show. No gothic melodies, just a simple electronic beep, and no vampire powers used to fly across town in the nick of time. He didn't even run any red lights to stop the shooting.
